 Assistant Strength & Conditioning, Coach Youth Development

Senior exercise science major at CSUMB. Degree in Kinesiology and CSCS certification in progress. Graduated from Palma High School in 2010. Played football all 4 years in high school, 1 season at Hartnell College, and is a current member of the Salinas Valley Spartans minor league football team. Also a state qualifier in wrestling and medaled at the national and Jr. Olympic levels in judo. Has nearly 2 years of experience in strength and conditioning, mentoring under coach Paul Cater. Also has over 6 years of experience coaching youth and high school sports and currently coaches football and wrestling at Palma High School.

Kevin Mixon



CSUMB 2014

Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach

Graduated with a BS in Kinesiology with a concentration in exercise science from California State University, Monterey Bay. Played Division 2 rugby while at CSUMB. Kevin interned in the strength and conditioning program for CSUMB women’s volleyball and soccer teams. Infield/hitting coach for Kern Valley High School JV baseball team during 2012 baseball season before moving to Monterey. Kevin joined the ALPHA family June 2014, and is currently working the high school baseball and softball players as well as collaborating with the MPC baseball program.
